Parents and babies have made it through this mornings storm and are set up to wait out the next line of thunder, lightning and rain as they stay tucked into the window ledges of the State Office Building – one of their favorites places to hang out!

Still waiting to hear when Tres will come back to us – will keep everyone posted.

This evening should be great for watching them fly – come down and join us!

Astrid and Ares stayed very close to Leda and Independence during the storm. The fledglings were a little nervous during the storm and the wind made us a little nervous for them but all are well.

According to a report that Matt received from the rehabilitator Tres is doing well. He still needs to be examined by the Veterinarian but he ate very well and showed aggression towards the rehabilitator (a good sign).

Tres made the journey to the State Office Building early this morning. We are unsure if the flight was in one or more segments but he made it safely from the Adirondack Bank Building over to his current perch on a window ledge of the State Office Building. Will Leda join him? Come down and check out all the action!!

We have had some very exciting moments this morning! Leda started it all with hopping out onto the perch area. Tres soon joined her and then he decided to get more adventurous and moved off the perch onto the nearby windowsill. From there he went around the pillar to the next windowsill. He seemed quite content and unaware of the nervousness he was causing his human watchers!! I believe our watchers will be well entertained over the next few days!!
